RCS for Business

A sender Android customers can recognise.

Verified sender identity and rich, structured messages in Google Messages — with a standard text message as the fallback when RCS is unavailable.

Can RCS be used for authentication?

Yes. RCS for Business supports a registered, branded sender and structured actions, so a verification or approval request is checkable in a way an anonymous short code never is. Assure's RCS delivery is in development, and sender verification and carrier enablement are still pending.

What the channel can carry

Branded, structured, and native to Android.

Each of these is a capability of the RCS platform. Assure's use of them is in development and not available yet.

Verified, branded sender

A registered sender name and logo in Google Messages, instead of an unfamiliar number the customer cannot check.

Rich interactions

Cards, carousels and suggested replies, so a verification or approval is readable at a glance.

Structured calls to action

Suggested actions give the customer one clear next step rather than free-text instructions.

Android reach

RCS is the modern messaging layer in Google Messages, which is the default messaging app on many Android devices.

Requirements and limits

Honest about reach.

Carrier and device support varies

RCS availability depends on the customer's device, network and country. It should never be presented as universally available.

Sender verification is pending

Assure's own RCS sender verification and carrier enablement are still in progress. No carrier or platform approval is claimed on this page.

Fallback is a standard text message

Where RCS is unavailable, the request arrives as an ordinary text message — less rich, less verifiable, but far more widely reachable.

Assure claims no Google or carrier partnership, endorsement or certification.
